Ziva apparently wasn’t fine with getting betrayed by her would-be fiancé. It was subtle, but I saw her wipe her eye while Tony was fixing her phone battery (that’s what that is. It’s hard to tell. Whatever, he’s busy).
But yeah. First she’s mad at C.I.Ray for standing her up and ignoring her calls, he finally shows up, proposes, and once she actually starts considering it, reveals that he’s a murderer trying to flee to friggin’ Florida. She tries to hide it, but I’d be heartbroken too, Ziva, my god.
I probably should’ve left Tony out of this pic, but for some reason, his being there oblivious adds something to the subtlety. Or something. I don’t know, I’ve been working on this while half-asleep on-and-off for hours. It’s finally done, I’ma go sleep.
Btw, this is from season 9 episode A Desperate Man.
Oh he was far from oblivious! His “It’s okay to ask for help you know” had nothing to do with that phone. And the fact that she LET him spoke volumes as well.
